A women-led movement to revolutionize how India thinks about period care — through organic, biodegradable products that serve your body and protect the planet.
In 2020, watching the menstrual health crisis in rural India, our founder knew something had to change. Girls were missing school. Women were facing infections. And the planet was drowning in 12.3 billion disposable pads every year — each taking 500+ years to decompose.
Ecozen began with a simple mission: create organic, biodegradable period care that's affordable, accessible, and unapologetically Indian. Not imported. Not trending. A genuine solution for the women who need it most.
Today, we've reached 25,000+ women, partnered with 500+ schools, and diverted thousands of tonnes of plastic from landfills. But we're just getting started.
Founder & CEO · Ecozen · Suharth Foundation
Hiteshi's journey to founding Ecozen started in the villages of Telangana, where she witnessed firsthand how the absence of safe, affordable period care was holding back entire generations of girls. With a background in sustainable business and social impact, she combined her passion for women's health with a deep commitment to environmental responsibility.
Her vision was clear: build a brand that doesn't just sell products, but transforms how India thinks about menstruation — through empowerment, education, and environmental stewardship.

Two commitments that drive everything we do.
To provide safe, organic, biodegradable period care to Indian women and girls — especially in underserved rural communities. Menstrual health is health equity, and every woman deserves products made with integrity, transparency, and care.
A future where menstruation is spoken of, not hidden. Where sustainable period care is the default, not the exception. Where Ecozen has reached millions — and our work is no longer needed.
Real change, measured and transparent.

Back to earth, zero landfillIn partnership with Suharth Foundation, Ecozen provides free, organic period care to schoolgirls in rural Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We've identified that the #1 reason girls drop out of school during adolescence is lack of access to safe, affordable menstrual products.
Our school programs include free product distribution, menstrual health education workshops, and conversations that normalize periods. We've reached 500+ schools and counting.
Every schoolgirl in our partner schools gets free, organic pads for a full year — no shame, no barriers.
We run workshops on menstrual health, breaking taboos and building confidence in adolescent girls.
Girls in our programs have higher school attendance and lower dropout rates than before.
